Jackson Wang recruits RAMENGVRL & Warren Hue for ‘GBDS’ remix
The warbly R&B track now has 2 top tier Rap verses on it
When Jackson Wang makes any music, he can basically pick anyone in the region he wants to be on his remixes, so it’s always good when he puts on RAMENGVRL and Warren Hue as he does for the ‘GBDS’ remix. The Alt-R&B track is smooth, and the video is funky, but having some Rap verses on it fills out the track fully.
After the first chorus, RAMENGVRL slickly raps about being a d*ck sometimes by not letting people wear shoes in her house or blocking people’s IG. Warren is second on deck and lets it fly about jumping off the top rope like Jeff Hardy or styling at the Met Gala.
Jackson Wang and RAMENGVRL were recently spotted together at ComplexCon Hong Kong, so that may be where this collab was born. Wherever it was, it’s great to see RAMEN getting involved with the 88rising crew since she is such an integral part of the Asian Hip Hop movement.
