J.I.D Asian tour to heat up the Asian underground in 2026
The Dreamville artist knows how to rock a party
J.I.D is one of those artists who is constantly bubbling on the top of the underground, and it feels like he’s just one hit away from crashing into the mainstream. The best part about him is that he doesn’t care about that. He wants to make his music the way he wants. J.I.D is coming to the region again, and he just announced the 2026 Asian dates of his God Does Like World Tours in Bangkok, KL, Manila, Seoul, and Tokyo.
Missing from the list is Hong Kong, which hosted J.I.D in 2023. From all accounts, the party was live as Hong Kong showed out, and J.I.D gave a masterclass on why he’s one his generation’s great lyrical MCs and showmen. The tour doesn’t start till mid-2026, so there are plenty of add-on dates available if things change.
J.I.D has been signed to J. Cole’s Dreamville since 2017. His biggest claim to fame is when his song, ‘Surround Sound,’ went viral on TikTok and other social media platforms. He also just released God Does Like Ugly in August of 2025.
J.I.D will be in Bangkok on May 26, KL on May 28, and in Manila on May 30. He will start off June right with a show on the first in Seoul and then on June 3 in Tokyo. Hip Hop lovers should make the effort to see one of the best rappers and live performers in the underground scene when he comes to Asia.
