Podcasts are a growing industry globally, and iHeartMedia is at the top of the food chain. Their iHeartPodcasts highlight trends and personalities in business, wellness, sports, entertainment, and music. Now, iHeartMedia and their podcasts are storming into the Asia Pacific [APAC] region by partnering with Mammoth Media Asia on the ground.
In 2024, the APAC podcast market was valued at US$373 million, which is expected to grow to US$3.1 billion by 2031. The growth is driven by the penetration of the Internet, and China, Japan, India, and South Korea increasing their digital content consumption. The focus will be on producing original content as well as extending the reach of the 800 iHeartPodcasts already available.
