Underwear maker Fruit of the Loom drops Athletic Formal Suit
The suit-in-a-bag instantly sold out
When Ye was in the news for style instead of anti-semitism, he was one of the first creatives to really push people to rock comfort wear outside with leather sweatpants at the club. Since then, convenience wear has become huge in Asia as Family Mart leads the way with their clothing, FamiChicki house slippers, fashion shows in store, and even hiring NIGO as the Creative Director.
Now, an old brand is dropping new products into the leisurewear sector–Fruit of the Loom. The underwear maker in Japan hired designers Keiji Kaneko and Kosuke Kambara and unveiled a 100 percent cotton Athletic Formal Suit. This suit-in-a-bag uses the same cotton as Fruit of the Loom’s T-shirts and underwear and is completely machine washable. The only difference is the material is a bit thicker for the double-breasted suit jacket and drawstring joggers.
Since its introduction to the market a week ago, the Athletic Formal Suit has sold out in every location, but because of its virality, we are predicting it will be back sooner rather than later.
