The 9th Wish Music Awards was held on January 14 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines. The show celebrates the diversity of the music scene with awards for Rock, Ballads, Folk, Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, and more performances on the now-iconic Wish Bus. Winners receive about US$500 as well as a donation of US$2,000 to a charity of their choosing. For 2024, the Wish Music Awards teamed up with Spotify Philippines to shine a light on the artists making the most impact on the streaming platform.

LiFTED’s main interest is the Hip Hop arena where Asintada Management's Flow G took home three awards. This was after he took home six awards in 2023. For Wish Hip Hop Song of the Year, Flow G’s ‘Rap Star’ beat out labelmate Gloc-9’s ‘Kwentong Barbero,’ Peaceful Gemini’s ‘Moment to Breathe,’ and ‘Wild Tonight’ by Josh Cullen.

In the Spotify Awards section, Flow G won Artist of the Year. He also topped Clara Beninm, syd hartha, and TJ Monterde as the Wish Artist of the Year, the biggest award of the night.

In Filipino Hip Hop, Flow G is the big winner.
