Emiway Bantai drops ‘Tribute to Sidhu Moose wala‘ near 2nd anniversary of death
The 2 popular MCs discussed a collab before the untimely murder
Two years ago today, Sidhu Moose wala’s security detail was reduced. The next day, on May 29, his envoy was ambushed by two vehicles, and 30 rounds were fired into his car, killing the rising rapper, even though he valiantly fought back.
To mark the second anniversary of Sidhu’s death, Emiway Bantai dropped ‘Tribute to Sidhu Moose wala,‘ a heartbreaking reworking of ‘Dogar,’ which samples Sidhu’s voice. In a statement, Emiway said, “Sidhu Moosewala is more than an artist—he’s a movement. His voice, his message, and his spirit continue to inspire me and so many others every single day. This tribute is my way of showing love and respect to someone who changed the game in his own way.”
The video is a solemn tribute to a man who is respected for being his own person and doing things his own way. Emiway mentioned the two artists had discussed a collab in the future before Sidhu’s death, but with a bit of joy and sadness mixed together, the fans are treated to this posthumous collaboration.
