China’s Vultures Listening Experience sells out in 3 minutes

Ye & Ty Dolla $ign head to Haikou on September 15

After a highly successful show in Asia at the end of August, the Vultures Listening Experience is heading to Haikou, China on September 15. 30,000 tickets went on sale and sold out in three minutes, leaving more than 200,000 people waiting online for tickets.

The demand to see Ye is now at an all-time high since he did 78 songs at his Vultures Listening Experience in Seoul, Korea on August 24. At the show, Ye, Ty Dolla $ign, and Chicago and North West all stomped around to both Vultures album cuts. Then, the whole crew left the field, and ‘the old Kanye’ returned and did 50 of his greatest hits. Since this rarely happens, it was a big treat for his Korean audience.

Ye has ties to China as he last played there in 2008 in an echoey gymnasium. Kanye also spent a year in Nanjing as his mother Donda was a lecturer at a local university.

The site of the concert, Haikou on the northeastern coast, has tropical weather and good beaches. It’s also known for having a relaxed approval process for concerts compared to other cities deeper in the heart of China.

Will Ye show up? Will he do another 50-song greatest hits show? Will the Taiwan show ever be rescheduled? Only time will answer these questions.
