Awich is once again pushing the limits of what a Hip Hop artist can do. For the first time ever in Japan, she will be the star of Red Bull Symphonic, a reimagining of her catalogue with a symphony. With four shows in Osaka, Fukuoka, Sendai, and Yokohama, this will be a milestone in an already acclaimed career.

Alongside the Tokyo Secret Orchestra, conducted by Mika Takayama, Awich will perform her signature songs with new arrangements. While the spirit of the originals will remain, the audience will have a brand-new way to hear the Okinawian MC’s music.

This specialized concert series will be happening at Japan’s finest concert venues. Red Bull Symphonic starts at the Symphony Hall in Osaka on November 17, then travels to Fukuoka Symphony Hall November 19th, Sendai Bank Hall Izumity 21 on November 25, and the final stop is the Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall on November 27.

Awich said, “Hip-hop is a genre born from the use of sampling and beats in environments where access to traditional instruments was often difficult. Being able to reconstruct my songs with an orchestra feels like a significant milestone and holds deep meaning for me. I hope to deliver a cinematic musical experience—something that feels like watching an epic film.”

Tickets go on sale August 7. Updated ticket information can be found on Awich’s social media below.
