100KGOLD keeps the Christmas spirit alive with ‘Snow Mane’

“Hitting white lines like a snowman”

In 2005, Young Jeezy was hot on the streets with hits like ‘Soul Survivor’ and ‘Go Crazy’ from his first album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101. When he would make appearances, Jeezy was always wearing a mean-mugging snowman shirt. Soon, these Snowmen shirts became the hottest thing on the streets and everyone was bootlegging them because it was 2005. Schools soon were banning the shirts because they had figured out that Jeezy wasn’t just talking about Frosty the Snowman. Of course, this made the shirt even more popular in classes and schools at the time.

Twenty years later, 100KGOLD is keeping that same naughty Christmas spirit alive with ‘Snow Mane.’ Instead of having plausible deniability like Jeezy did, 100KGOLD’s main refrain from the song is “Hitting white lines like a snowman.”

The song is in the form of a mixtape classic with 100KGOLD transforming into Goofy Mane and the song even has radio station tags running through it. Like many Christmas songs, ‘Snow Mane’ is a novelty track that gets a bit of love around the holiday season and then by December 27, it’ll be tucked away until the next holiday season.
