The video was filmed before the rapper's untimely end

While there have been numerous Sidhu Moose Wala posthumous releases, DIVINE’s ‘Chorni’ and Burna Boy’s ‘Mera Na’ come to mind, Steel Banglez’s ‘Attach’ comes with a video that was filmed before the rapper was gunned down in a senseless act of violence. This adds a layer of realism, soul, and a bit of sadness, to the video.

‘Attach’ is melancholy right from the start, but as soon as Sidhu starts rapping, it’s easy to see why he’s so missed, and the video has already racked up 18 million views in less than a week. He’s got an outstanding flow that straddles the line between rapping and singing. It’s easy to see why Drake loved the man so much because there is a lot of influence both ways there. Steel Banglez brought in British rapper Fredo for some bars on the song as well, and they bridge the gap between the Punjab and British Hip Hop scene.

While it’s heartbreaking to see Sidhu Moose Wala for the final time in a video, it’s stirring to get some new verses from him on tracks as good as ‘Attach.’
