Legend ‘Muhammad Ali’ saluted by Diljit Dosanjh & NLE Choppa
Punjabi Hip Hop with a bit of Memphis flare
Diljit Dosanjh knows how to get a feature. He has recorded songs with superstars such as Sia and Saweetie, and is now back with ‘Muhammad Ali,’ featuring Memphis legend, NLE Choppa. The song is an ode to the legendary boxer that pushes people to believe in themselves.
This year has been a wild ride for Diljit Dosanjh. He has played sold-out shows all over North America in his Dil-luminati Tour. Then, he went on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to be backed by The Roots. Finally, he even popped out at a Saweetie show to perform their song ‘Khutti.’
On ‘Muhammad Ali,’ Diljit sings the chorus and a verse, then NLE busts in with his rhymes. The video is filled with a mansion, fly honeys, and a few dope rides for added Hip Hop appeal. Showing how successful they are can give motivation to others to work hard.
In a press release, Diljit said, “‘Muhammad Ali’ celebrates the spirit of resilience and empowerment. Collaborating with NLE Choppa on this anthem has been incredibly inspiring. I'm thrilled to share another vibrant Punjabi sound with the world.”
