MC Jin wants nothing more than respect in Chinatown Sound freestyle

The ill MC is dropping curbside proverbs

LiFTED | Marcus Aurelius | 11 Dec 2025

When MC Jin is not out doing stand up, checking out Broadway plays featuring Ne-Yo, or being part of the launch of Pacific Music Group, a new label to break Asian artists, he’s out droppin’ curbside proverbs. In the latest Chinatown Sound, an online platform giving artists some time to shine without a beat on the streets of Chinatown in New York City, Jin demands the respect that OGs get..nothing more nothing less.

Usually, Jin doesn’t get into with the instigators on social media because it’s not really worth it. But on Chinatown Sound he takes aim at the fools that put garbage can emojis in the comments, “Normally, I take the high road/No plan to pay tolls/But Imma make this pitstop/Just to handle you trolls.”

After exposing the scammers for their engagement tricks, Jin shouts out Santa Claus, Thor, Cinderella, a matador, Eminem, and even his best friend Proof [RIP]. Jin then drops into Cantonese before ending it by adding some Chinese flavor.
